Also, until/unless Apple opens Apple Music up for 3rd party visualizers, then SoundSpectrum visuals will only be available through the screen saver or the Standalone application on macOS. Apple has chosen to lock down Mojave and Catalina such that screen savers no longer have access to the microphone, and Microsoft has been pursuing a similar path. What do you guys think about using a toyota/ lexus woofer there vs an aftermarket one? the new avalon and pretty much all the lexus sedans have a hatshelf mounted woofer.New versions of WhiteCap, G-Force, and Winter Wonders 2020 are now live and Aeon will show up later this week. So i await the woofer, and research my options there. ![]() in my case, if i get more bass, i wont need to turn it up. This is usually attributed to not enough power. but the sound still gets "muddy" as i increase the volume to get that much needed bass hit. now i dont have to turn it up to deafening volumes to get good bass. ![]() Mine doesnt have the sub mounted yet, but the difference from having just the head unit powering the front and rear speakers to connecting the amp up to the door speakers was almost night and day. those 6s in the door can only go so far down. However, if you have more grown up tastes and arent trying to drown the whole neighbourhood with sound, then a hatshelf mounted sub can give much needed bass fill in the lower ranges of the sound spectrum. I dont have one, bit its unlikely to sound as good as a box.
